Do the cats get along well?
Togetherness
We're constantly amazed at this question. I usually get smart arse and reply, "They're cats. Who knows?" No - just kidding. But, they are cats ...sometimes they are the best of friends, others they'll studiously ignore each other. At times they will have wee fisty cuffs. Others they'll happily groom each other.
The amount of space they live in doesn't seem to bother them. There's lots of hiddy holes for each of them. They can lounge on the dashboard and view the world.
Where do they hide inside?
Everywhere is the simple answer.. the inside of an RV is chock full of hideaway nooks. They have their favourites, for sure, but every so often one of them turns up in a new spot we haven't thought of.
Our cave dweller is hard to spot in the cupboard
Chaussettes is our resident cave dweller. She loves dark cupboards, every morning she goes to the big hanging closet and settles way in the back. It's such a regular spot for her we've made a bed in there for her. Sometimes we forget she's there and close the cupboard, it doesn't bother her, she just goes on napping. We have to peer in to see the white hair on her feet or tummy to know if she's there. We also have to be sure to check the door is open if we go out for the day. She also loves hiding in the locker above our bed. The downside for her is she can't get up there on her own, her tummy is too large! She tried once, hung suspended for a few seconds before dropping down with an embarrassed look! Geordie can hop up there on her own but once she worked out we lift Chaussettes up, she suddenly needs to be lifted up too. All the cupboards and lockers get inspected, slept in and scratched through regularly.
Loud frightening noises has them scuttling under the driver's seat – Geordie sticks her foot out so we can always tell when she's there. Chaussettes also hides under the table.

  This photo is a couple of days after she arrived,  I had my art gallery in Georgia and she slipped into the role of gallery greeter without missing a beat.  Geordie, about 4-5 months old, a flea ridden stray with attitude and a big mouth arrived on our doorstep in 2010 when we lived in a small town in the state of Georgia. Here's the story behind her name. My sister in South Africa had a character German Shepard named Geordie who loved cats. The day she died my sister called us, we all had a cry and I said we'd have a toast to the lovely girl that evening on our "New Orleans" style balcony in this small downtown area where we rarely saw any animals. We toasted her passage over the rainbow bridge, then stared in amazement as this skinny wee kitten came trotting up our stairs, meowing her heart out. She's not stopped talking since. How did you train her to walk on a lead?

The question we get asked the most is, without a doubt, “How long did it take to train her on a lead? Why didn't you train both cats to walk on a lead?” We don't think we trained her, she wanted to try it and so it worked. Geordie was approximately 4-5 months old when she arrived on our doorstep. A couple of months later we went up to North Carolina stay at a dear friends 'cabin in the woods.' In Georgia we lived in a loft and Geordie had no chance to be outside. We were keen to let her enjoy the fabulous garden and the peace of the surroundings in N.C....the house was on a couple of hundred acres and the most noise was the bubbling brook running below the house. Before we went up there, we put a harness on her in the loft every couple of days and let her get used to it. Once up at the house in N.C., we put the harness on her for 2 days straight inside, on the third day Lee carried her outside, sat on a stump in the garden and put her on his lap. We waited. S
